I recently discovered twitter search which searches through people's twitts and has some interesting applications.

For exampl, I find it a useful tool to discover near real-time chatter about issues. For example, when I am having issues with Gmail, I would search thtrough twitter to confirm it is indeed an issue with Gmail and not something to do with my local network.

Any one tried it and found interesting application for it ?
